The photo was taken after Mr Jordan's public lecture on 'Dorothy Day: Poverty, Protest and Prayer,' which was organised by the Spiritual Capital Ireland Centre at All Hallows (this Centre is co-hosted by and at the Waterford Institute of Technology).  Dorothy Day was an American journalist and social activist who co-founded the Catholic Worker Movement, a non-violent, pacifist movement which combined direct aid for the poor and homeless with non-violent action on their behalf.
