A Word of Welcome

A Word of Welcome...

All Hallows College, a linked college of Dublin City University has a long history of applied research in the humanities.  The wide range of staff  research interests, and recently upgraded library facilities, have contributed to making All Hallows College a thriving centre of postgraduate studies in philosophy, theology, pastoral care, spirituality, behavioural sciences, social justice, leadership and management in community and voluntary services.  The community of scholarship in All Hallows is characterised by a rich diversity of experience, culture and expert knowledge.   Staff and postgraduate students share a strong working partnership in exploring frontier questions with the distinctive academic resources that are at the heart of the mission of the College.

All Hallows staff support both classical and new approaches to research projects. The multi-dimensional nature of contemporary research questions will be taken seriously in the interdisciplinary exchanges which are an intrinsic part of the research experience at All Hallows. The variety of seminars provided and specialist research activities aim to nurture an environment in which dialogue across disciplines is cultivated and encouraged.  Your personal research project will be supported to the highest standards in All Hallows and we are confident that research students at All Hallows will find their time in the College personally and socially rewarding.
