This School was established in Autumn 2008, in order to facilitate, coordinate and develop the Continuing Education programmes of the College. Its purpose is to provide a ‘home’ for all non-accredited programmes and certain accredited courses which, by nature of their methodology and structures, are suited to Adult Learning. The brief for this new School of Adult and Community Learning is to make education and training accessible to the widest number of people.

The School is founded on the principles of Adult Learning and Adult Faith Formation and is geared towards those who, for whatever reason, wish to develop their own learning, skills or interests in a way that is suited to their lifestyle.
