A course accepted as evidence of preparation for marriage |
|
The All Hallows pre-Marriage course is an acceptable form of preparation for marriage, as required by the Catholic Church:
- We have a dedicated module on the Sacrament of Marriage, presented by one of a panel of priests from the Archdiocese of Dublin
- Our Certificate of Completion is accepted by priests conducting marriages abroad, as well as throughout Ireland
- Our course is centred around the couple and their needs, with no group work and no unnecessary sharing of personal information
- Our Facilitators are highly qualified, with ongoing training in therapeutic methods, counselling, canon law and clinical training in relationship therapy
- Regular attendance by our facilitators at training and seminars around current thinking and contemporary research on marriage and long-term relationship support
- Our course is listed on gettingmarried.ie, a website set up jointly by ACCORD and CatholicIreland.net - a Trust set up to promote and support the work of the Catholic Church in Ireland and abroad on the World Wide Web.
