Advanced Facilitation Skills - Spring 2012 January - April. Workshops run for one weekend per month over four months and take place on Friday (February and March only), Saturday and Sunday (9.30-5.oopm) of each month.

A range of five different workshops is available, all covering different aspects of Facilitation processes and skills:

All of the workshops cover techniques for working effectively with groups using a method called the Technology of Participation system of group work. This was devised and pioneered by the Institute of Cultural Affairs in its work with individuals, communities and organisations around the world for over 38 years in the development of methods to maximize creativity and corporate action.
Workshop Leader - James Campbell
James Campbell is widely experienced in facilitation, training and locally-based development work. He has worked with the Institute of Cultural Affairs for the past 38 years. During that time his reputation as a facilitator, and as a trainer of facilitators, has brought him to South America, Africa and Eastern & Western Europe. James is the former European Regional Representative of the International Association of Facilitators. Most recently, James has conducted a number of workshops providing training in facilitation and, in particular, the Technology of Participation (ToP)© system of group processes at All Hallows College, Dublin.
