Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality
The Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality (SSCS) exists to promote research and dialogue within the growing community of persons interested in the field of spirituality. The SSCS is ecumenical and strives to be inclusive of the widest possible range of expressions of Christian spirituality. Its work is interdisciplinary, encouraging the application of diverse critical approaches to the study of spirituality.

Children's Spirituality Conference:
Christian Perspectives was held June 14 to 17, 2009 Concordia University, Chicago
This conference, held every three years, examines research, theory, and practice related to children's spirituality. The spiritual characteristics, growth, and experiences of children are considered within a Christian framework by researchers and others with expertise in this area.
